Big, Big, BIG DAY!!!

Tomorrow is the BIG day! We have to be at the hospital by 6:00am tomorrow morning to start our induction. So hopefully sometime tomorrow there will be a new little Warinner in this world. :-)

Nesting & Stuff

I have been nesting like a mad woman! It struck me today though... My nesting this time is completely different than when I was pregnant with our twins. 

This time I can only strive to accomplish things. For example, with my last pregnancy I was doing things like taking EVERYTHING out of every closet and rearranging it. I would organize, organize, and  ORGANIZE!  Now I'm doing things like sweeping up the never ending crushed goldfish cracker off the kitchen floor 10 times a day because it's driving me insane!!! 

Don't get me wrong I would LOVE to take everything out of the closets and reorganize it. But having two little ones already I'm barely keeping up with the everyday stuff. Again it's driving me insane that not everything is in it's place and clean. However I'm reminding myself of this little poem...

I hope my child looks back on today and remembers a Momma who had time to play.
There will be years for cleaning and cooking but children grow up when we are not looking.
Cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow 'cause babies grow fast, we learn to our sorrow.
So settle down cobwebs, dust go to sleep I'm cuddling my babies, and babies don't keep.

With that said... 

I had put the kids to bed this evening, and I had to go in the room several times to settle them down. (The first time I went in Leeland, as usual, was naked as a Jay bird and jumping on the bed!) After thinking that FINALLY they're out, I heard Rylie which is certainly a change because she's my quiet one. She was doing her fake fussy cry and calling out "Momma? Momma?". So I go in the room yet again. She looked at me and said "Momma Yee-yand" (Leeland) and pointed under her brothers bed. He had crawled under there and fell asleep which he does just about every evening. She's so concerned for him (unless he's taking her dolls) and it's very sweet. I put Leeland back in bed and was leaving the room and she called for me again. She wanted me to sit with her so I did for a couple of minutes. We "talked" about how her baby brother was going to "come live with us" soon. We had such a sweet moment together. Thank God for those precious times with my children. It helps me forget that they are both going through the TERRIBLE two's! ;-)

In other news my husband Ryan and my brother-in-law Eric played lumber jack this past week. We  are slowly but surely trying to accomplish things on our house and property. One of the tasks was/is to remove 3 large pine trees that are in the front yard. Eric was climbing and cutting limbs like a pro, and Ryan knocked one of the trees down with the skid steer. Then what do you do with all of the wood and pine limbs? Well if you're Ryan and Eric you start a HUGE fire! Did I mention Eric took the leaf blower to it and had it roaring like wildfire. Check out the pictures! Thankfully I trust my husband around a fire ;-) and it was raining out.

Well I have an appointment with my OB tomorrow morning for a check. We'll see how we're progressing. If everything is still alright, and provided the baby doesn't come before hand, we'll be induced on February 13. I'm now 38 weeks pregnant and at my last visit I was 1-2cm dilated and 50% effaced, so I'm anxious for tomorrow. One way or another we should get to meet our son in about a week. I can't wait! Pictures will be posted as soon as possible. 

P.s. I know the picture I have posted of myself is a week late but I don't have anyone to take an updated picture. I'm just a tad bit bigger now.  ;-)
